Foxy Roxy

This is going to be one of those random things where I’ll chat about a photo. All the camera info can be seen as well as my reasonings behind the image. WOOF!

Camera: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV

Shutter: 1/320 s

Aperture: f/5.6

Exposure Setting: Manual

ASA: 100

Strobe Flash: Did Fire – Elinchrom Quadra

Lens: EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM

Lens Focal Length: 70 mm

White Balance: Auto

This is Foxy Roxy. I had no one to shoot so I used a dog. This is not any ordinary dog this is a posing dog. She seemed to give me all her best angles and expressions. She made sure that that I used a large light source very close to her, so as to not show any of her wrinkles. That being said! I used a three light set up. Rotalux Deep Octo to camera right, Rotalux strip for a kicker and gelled blue for background. Oh and the vignette is from light falling off not the over used post production technique.  Cropped in camera! not in post!
